Founded in 2004 by Hayley Mahaffey, Wakulla Dance Academy has spent more than two decades doing one thing well — teaching the young dancers of Wakulla County to move, to belong, and to believe in themselves.
Class after class, recital after recital, the work has never really been about winning trophies or perfecting a plié. It has been about the quiet moments in between — where a shy child finds her voice, and a whole community finds itself on our sprung studio floors.
